Natus Vincere Replace HellRaisers at D2CL S6 Playoffs
Epic Esports Events have announced a change in the line-up of their ongoing event Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 6. HellRaisers, who were one of four teams invited directly to the event’s playoffs, decided to withdraw from the event. To replace them, the organizers invited Natus Vincere.
The group stage of D2CL S6 concluded earlier last week, with CIS Rejects (8-0), HYDRA (6-2), Brame (5-3) and Nemiga Gaming (5-3) advancing to the playoffs stage. The playoffs is scheduled for January 4th – 12th and will feature four teams from the group stage and four invited teams – NAVI, Entity, Tickles and Coolguys – competing in a double-elimination bracket. The winner will claim $20,000 in prize money.
HellRaisers have not explained their decision to miss the event – currently their new roster, which consists of young players from Russia and Kazakhstan, is one of the leaders of the Eastern European DPC league. There they have a 3-0 score and already defeated Virtus.pro (2-1), Gambit (2-0) and Unique (2-0). Meanwhile NAVI have a 2-1 score – they managed to outplay Unique and Empire but lost to PuckChamp.
