FURIA Esports Secure the Last Spot at Six Invitational 2021

The Brazilian squad of FURIA Esports has become the last participant of Six Invitational 2021. The team has emerged victorious in the regional qualifiers for Latin America after defeating Estral Esports (2-1) in its grand finals.

The tournament’s line-up will consist of 20 teams, 16 of which received direct invites due to their standings in the global leaderboard, while the final 4 made it through the regional qualifier. The full list looks as follows:

  • Invited Teams: BDS, TSM, Giants, Cloud9, Liquid, DarkZero, NiP, Spacestation, oNe, Virtus.pro, Wildcard, Empire, FaZe, Oxygen, G2, MIBR
  • Qualified Teams: Cyclops (Asia), Mkers (Europe), Altiora (North America), FURIA (Latin America)

Six Invitational 2021 will be held offline in Europe in a studio environment, its grand finals is scheduled for February 21st. It will be the first major Rainbow Six: Siege event held offline since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial prize pool of the event is set at $500,000; it will be increased through the sales of the Battle Pass, up to $3,000,000.
