ESL Reveal Complete Line-Up for IEM XVII Cologne

ESL have revealed all participants of their upcoming CS:GO event IEM XVII – Cologne. The organizers have invited twenty four teams, with the majority of them getting their spots at the event thanks to their ESL Pro Tour points. Out of them, only eight teams have been invited directly to the main event:

• FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, Cloud9, G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENCE, FURIA Esports, Team Liquid

Meanwhile the other sixteen teams have been invited to participate in the tournament’s Play-In stage, which will follow a double-elimination stage, with best eight teams advancing to the group stage. The list is following:

• Heroic, Team Vitality, Outsiders, GODSENT, Complexity Gaming, MIBR, ORDER, TYLOO, BIG, Astralis, Team Spirit, Imperial Esports, Movistar Riders, paiN Gaming, MOUZ, Sprout

Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII – Cologne is scheduled for July 5th – 17th. The event will be held in Cologne, Germany, with its playoffs stage taking place at Lanxess-Arena. The tournament’s prize pool is set at $1,000,000; it is also part of the Intel Grand Slam series.
