Alliance and Vici Gaming Qualified for The International 10
Yet another two teams are now guaranteed to receive direct invites to The International 10. One of them is Vici Gaming, who yesterday defeated Virtus.pro (2-1) in the first round of the lower bracket at WePlay AniMajor. The other one is Alliance – despite losing to Team Spirit (1-2) in the same round, the team advanced to the TI thanks to EG defeating NoPing Esports in a parallel series.
Currently only two places at The International 10 remain vacant, with five teams aspiring to claim them. Interestingly enough, the highest chances to qualify for the event belong to beastcoast, who were eliminated in the group stage, and Thunder Predator, who did not even qualify for the Kyiv major. Both teams currently have 800 DPC points. Meanwhile Team Nigma (670 points), Team Spirit (585) and TNC Predator (572) have to get to the grand finals of the major in order to qualify for The International.
